Hello there! My name is Angie, and I'll be your tour guide. I've spent the past five years sharing Cambridge's fascinating history with visitors and locals, beginning my career as a river tour guide with Scudamore's Punting Company. I loved it so much that, three years ago, I took on the role of tour guide trainer, teaching fellow guides the history behind this remarkable city.

When I'm not out guiding or training, you'll find me in one of the many cafes, pubs, restaurants, churches and museums that Cambridge has to offer, probably researching global history and learning from the work of other historians. Today I continue to do both, combining my love of guiding with my passion for research.

In May 2026, I founded The Cambridge Insider because, as much as I love sharing Cambridge from the River Cam, there's so much more to this wonderful city, and I couldn't be more delighted to share it's hidden gems and rich history with you!
